| USS PELELIU, MAJURO ATOLL (Aug. 29, 2007) - Adm. Robert F. Willard, Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Mrs. Donna Willard, Mrs. Mary Note, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Kessai H. Note, Pacific Partnership mission commander Capt. Bruce Stewart and USS Peleliu (LHA 5) Commanding Officer Capt. Ed Rhoades, cut a cake during a welcome aboard ceremony for the president aboard Peleliu. Adm. and Mrs. Willard are currently visiting the Marshall Islands to get a first hand view of humanitarian assistance programs and to thank the participants of Pacific Partnership, a four-month Pacific Fleet mission supporting host nations in Southeast Asia and Oceania. | ||||
